The Firefly preventive protection system indicates glowing particles, sparks or flames and eliminates these before reaching risk zones in the process. Extinguishing usually takes place directly inside the process. However, there are many applications that do not permit this.

Firefly Diverting valve is a fast switching valve intended for applications where extinguishing cannot take place from within the process.

The diverting valve redirects the process flow to a collection point outside of the process where extinguishing takes place. The valve then returns to its normal position if no more indications are registered.

The Firefiy Diverting valve is fitted with a spring tensioned pneumatic controller and is available in dimensions up to 45Ox450 mm. The switching valve switches in less than 300 milliseconds.
